Timms Hill 1951' - Wisconsin's High Point September 18, 2018
For our first highpoint of this trip, we had the wonderful pleasure of being joined by a lot of friends: Clayton, Lalo, Christopher and Patrick. Thank you all for joining us; it was absolutely wonderful to share this highpoint with you all!
Timms Hill is a very easy and short hike of no more than half a mile. Ricardo managed to double this, since he forgot his guitar pick when he was at the top of the observation tower about to record his music video and had to run to the car to get one and then back up the highest point in Wisconsin to record! After recording, both of us (Uly and Ricardo) were not able to stand the temptation of climbing the old metal fire tower that's next to the wooden observation tower. Christopher joined us afterwards to find and hike the second highest point in Wisconsin: Pearson Hill which happens to be a half a mile away and only 0.7 feet shorter! After the hikes, we enjoyed some pie and tea at a nearby restaurant, This was a good chance to talk with our friends who drove quite a bit to join us on this highpoint. State Highpoint rank: 39 |

SUMMITS: Timms Hill Trip Report
SONGS: Norwegian Wood
For our Wisconsin high point we actually recorded our music video at the state high point: Timms Hill. This highpoint features a wooden observation tower where we shot the video. The high point of Wisconsin is covered in beautiful forest! With all the beautiful woods around us, we decided to make this Beatles song the tune for our Wisconsin highpoint: Norwegian Wood.
SCIENCE: "Carved by Ice": This episode covers the geological and glaciological past of Wisconsin.
