Mount Adams 13,931' - Colorado's 66th highest peak July 17, 2017
Mount Adams is about 2 miles north of the 14er, Kit Carson, and is the northernmost Centennial peak in the Sangre de Cristo mountain range. The route up this peak was steep and blocked in places by willows. These bushes can always complicate ascents - especially in the early morning hours, when dew that has collected on their leaves soaks you as you walk by!
