Handies Peak 14,438' - Colorado's 40th highest peak                                    September 13, 2018

After a tiring ascent of Half Peak, a new centennial 13er for both of us, we decided to do Handies Peak the next day since Ulyana had never done it.

​We tried a different route going up an unranked and unnamed 13er just south of Handies first. This added an interesting class 3 scramble to the summit of this 13er and from there we continued north to rejoin the normal route of Handies. We descended the normal route with some trail running.
